"FANCY DANCING LADY - LET US DANCE"

Funny how the unreleased cut "Dance Fever", recorded in 1974-75, along with that assortment of producers on their 1975 LP The Supremes, turned out to be in fact NOT fully mixed.  The several generation shared unreleased cut was only 2:20 long, and I thought it was just a short throwaway from the recording sessions.  But when listening to Volume 2 of the 70's Supremes boxed set, "Dance Fever" fades out around 2:20, then the guitar and harmonica begins playing, beginning a second half to the song.

That was a pleasant surprise to hear "Dance Fever", when fully mixed, is TWICE as long as the fan-circulated copy many of us had heard for years.  Thanks again to that Hippo for finding and completely mixing that one for us!

TWELVE FROM THE 2012 STAR WARS SHELVES

Before the carpet was replaced a couple months ago and EVERYTHING had to be packed up and moved out, including my SW collection - this is some of what I had going on the tall bookcase in the entertainment room.  Now I have to start over from scratch, INCLUDING everything that was on the walls pre-early 2013.  I've never had my complete collection out before and might try that this time, in one form or another (two bookcases with about 9 levels total at my disposal, individual ledge shelves - have about five of those, and whatever else).

This is only a small fraction of my collection, mostly photos from Jabba's Palace (a mix of vintage and modern), and what I'd started of the Kashyyyk/Order 66/Episode III scene.  I needed to see these older photos once again, myself, to give me a push into getting my ass in gear and getting the 2013-14 diorama's, groups from a particular scene (bounty hunters in Empire Strikes Back, the Cantina creatures, etc.), and all that organized and going.

I need to find a local SW geek who's more experienced at diorama setups to give me a hand at this!  But SOMETHING OTHER than CraigsList, DAMMIT!!  I'm creative, but two or three heads are better than one in THIS case! LOL

HOODLINE NEWS

A new compilation I put together of Shirley Q. Liquor, played by comedian Chuck Knipp.  Have been a fan for years and was tickled he subscribed to my older YouTube channel, assuming he'd seen my many SQL compilations (which have since been reposted on my new channel).

MINNIE HANGING OUT

Minnie's like a little bowling ball with kitty ears and a tail and because she has to be as close to me as possible when I'm @ home (and that's including bed LOL), she likes to lay ON one or both my feet, eventually cutting off the circulation.  And it gets on my nerves if I have shoes on because they're steel toe and I don't want to kick or step on her.  So I made a deal, moved a chair next to me with an old blanket and I think she's happy.  As long as she can keep me under surveillance!

LOVEMELOVEMELOVEME!!!
NO SHEEIT, you spoiled runt of the litter!!  LOL

NEW SSMYOB THE COVER GIRLS MIX: "IT'S YOU" + "HERE IT IS"

A few months ago, I'd made The Cover Girls' mix of "Funk Boutique"/"Gotta Get Up" and had gotten good feedback on that one.  The other one I'd wanted to do with two more cuts from that same LP (Here It Is from 1991), just finished: featuring "It's You" and "If You Want My Love (Here It Is)".  I'm definitely more of a fan of TCG when Michelle Valentine and Evelyn Escalera replaced Latina Diana Ross, Angel, from the original lineup.  This is the first of two albums featuring those two new lead singers.

HERE IT IS!!

THE JASON SWEENEY CASE: WITH "FRIENDS" LIKE THESE, WHO THE HELL NEEDS ENEMIES?!?

An interesting segment from Killer Kids ("Framed"): the sad case of four jealous "crabs in the barrel" trashy kids working together with the female of the four, Justina, as the bait for three guy "friends" of Jason Sweeney, to jump and rob him in a park while Jason and Justina are on a phony "date".  While Justina stood back, the other three beat Jason beyond recognition, with everything they could get their hands on.

All four are currently incarcerated and I hope they stay that way, if not wiped out by their fellow inmates.  AKA THEIR new "friends".  Or should I say "BOYfriends" in the case of those three male twats.  I'll bet "Big LaRon" and a 7ft trans-sexual named "Delicious" are both fucking that white trash entitled bottom of the barrel American narcissism OUT of their systems right about now.  And they probably aren't now as smarmy as they were that day they decided to take a decent person's life "just because", either.  Wiped those Constantine Maroulis smirks RIGHT the fuck off their crack baby looking faces.

Deal, bitches.

HAPPY B-DAY TO NALINI KRISHAN AKA BARRISS!! [AUGUST 30]

Both Mirialan B-Day's two months in a row:  Mary Oyaya AKA Master Luminara in July and today's Nalini Krishan AKA Barriss Offee's B-Day.  We'll be seeing more of Nalini hopefully in the near future, who last said she'll be moving to America (not sure of any date, TBA I assume).

"LIKE A BOOK WITH A MISSING PAGE - I NEVER KNEW IT UNTIL YOU READ IT"

One of the best cuts from High Energy (1976) and I believe was actually the B-Side to two singles.  I consider "You're What's Missing In My Life" good enough to have been on 'Side A'.  But after hearing the unreleased alternate take with just Scherrie Payne singing lead (instead of Mary Wilson and she alternating leads) from Volume 2 of the 70's Supremes boxed sets, I'd much rather THAT version to have been the one used on the High Energy LP, and the should-have-been-a-single version, too.

THIS is the IMO MUCH better version of "You're What's Missing....." - too bad it stayed hidden in the Motown vaults for over 30 years!

CRAZY RHUBARB LADY HAS A MOUTH LIKE A TRUCKER

Because rhubarb goes in and out of season quickly during the Summer (at least here in TX), I'll spend a little of that time chopping, Ziplock'ing and freezing rhubarb for future use, mostly the holidays.  I haven't even seen chopped/frozen rhubarb in any grocery in years.  So I'll get it while the getting is good and the freezer is already well-stocked for 2013-early 2014.  I mostly bake it with strawberries, but tell people ANY of the red berries works - raspberry, cranberry, cherry.  Either way, it balances out rhubarb's bitter/sour with sweet from the strawberries or whatever you prefer.

I've driven the Tom Thumb produce guy nuts about getting rhubarb in stock when the time comes, but THIS lady here is just ridiculous in her quest for the kinda-rare vegetable (most people think rhubarb is a fruit, and some groceries lists its' PLU as such).

"WUT ARRR YA, A FUCKIN' LEZZIE?!?!?"
LMAO!!!!
