eBAY BEGINNING SELLER ALREADY A SUCCESS SO FAR
Finally giving eBay selling (for moving funds) a shot and already had success with my first two carded figures: Vintage Collection Bastila Shan and Darth Malgus. Currently I only have two vintage 80's cross-stitch pattern books up for sale: Care Bears and Precious Moments and if those don't sell individually, I have several more pattern books and will offer them all as one lot auction. I don't want to overwhelm myself with too many auctions at once going on because I don't want to mix up addresses and be sending the wrong item out to somebody.
Thanks to buyers for your support so far and I'll try to step it up and post more items soon!

PATRICIA ARQUETTE VS. FREDDY KRUEGER SNAKE
The first time Freddy changes form into a monster, from Nightmare On Elm Street 3: Dream Warriors. Heather Langencamp from the original Elm Street returns as Nancy, and for some reason, singer Tuesday Knight replaces Patricia as Kristin in the 4th sequels two years later.
AFTER FRIDAY, REBECCA BLACK REDEEMS HERSELF WITH "SATURDAY"
Anyone her age who can survive the tsunami of name-calling and death threats over her lame "Friday" video/single and makes a decent comeback earns my respect. On "Saturday", she no longer sings in monotone and really does have a nice voice.
She's also learned that if you don't poke fun at yourself, everyone else will do that job for you, as she takes many jabs at her "Friday" video, including the bowl of cereal, the words "so excited" written on the beach and the producer of "Friday" being thrown out of the party.
I even shown my support for the "new" Rebecca and bought the "Saturday" single from Amazon.

FILONI EXPLAINS MASTER LUMINARA'S APPEARANCE IN "REBELS" SEASON 5
"Literally, what you see in that hologram, is her sitting, waiting to be executed. It’s a recording of that event. So when they walk in and see her, they’re actually standing where the Inquisitor was standing [when it was recorded]. And so when she walks up and looks at them kind of distantly and not very friendly, she’s looking at the Inquisitor and that’s what the recording is of. Then she steps over into that chamber and obviously she gets killed there. It’s really wicked when you think about it. The material of her body is the essence that Kanan is somehow sensing through the Force. But he knows there’s something off about it. But since he didn’t really know Luminara, he doesn’t really know. That’s one of the interesting things about death and then the dark side and all these different ways you can use the Force. The sensing of people is one of the biggest dilemmas, I think, in all of Star Wars, because people want to use it like a metal detector. I am very, very certain that it really just relates to how much you know somebody and intention of threat. You take those two things and combine them. So of course when Obi-Wan arrives in the Death Star, Anakin knows about it. Obi-Wan’s intentions are fairly clear, what he wants to do. He even, I think to some degree, knows he’s going to face Vader. And they knew each other so well, they were so close. It’s like a battering ram."

FUN FACTORY: THEN AND NOW
Most of the fans refuse to give any lineups of Fun Factory beyond the original group a chance and diss any of the newer incarnations of the group. I see it as new members being passed the torch from the previous member and it's still the same group. I'm that way with The Supremes and any other group with interchangeable members.

NES GAMING: Q*BERT
Unfortunately a PC controller can't be used with the NES emulator I use, so for EACH jump made, you have to press down TWO arrow keys. Once you get good at it, you give your fingers quite a workout. One thing I don't like about the NES version if Q*Bert doesn't hop from cube to cube as smoothly as he did on the arcade or even the Atari 2600 versions.
All of the early home platform (Atari, Colecovision, etc) versions of Q*Bert only included either Ugg or Wrong-Way hopping on the cubes' sides or didn't bother with them at all (Atari 2600). NES includes both of them, adding to the challenge of what made the arcade game fun in the first place. So basically Coily and the red ball were the only "bad guys" in most of the original home gaming versions.
My favorite thing about the NES version is Coily's fangs. Look at his cute teef!

IT'S BEEN *THIS* LONG SINCE ANY MAINSTREAM EURODANCE HIT SINGLES?
And this was released in 2000/01. DJ Sammy/Do/Yanou and Alice Deejay were the last Eurodance artists I recall having charting hits. Like disco, I guess it went into temporary hibernation LOL

MAIL!
Other than Keurig coffee cups, my most-ordered grocery items online are the obscure preserves I like to bake with as well as trying different mustards from the Mustard Museum (link in "Places I Like!" list).
You can't find anything huckleberry outside of states like Montana and have bought this particular brand of wild huckleberry preserves more than once in the past. The Provencal mustard is my favorite kind and the only place around here I've found it at a couple times was a Marshall's store - even though I've tried making my own before, I also prefer the real thing from France.
Now I need to buy some roll-out pie crusts!
BOUGHT BACK A PAC-PIECE OF MY CHILDHOOD FROM EBAY.......FOR $15!!
One of the good things about eBay is you can sometimes find and "buy back" something from your childhood that had gotten lost, disposed of or sold at a garage sale. I'd always talked about wanting that Pac-Man sleeping bag I'd had and continued to use for several years, being the retro gaming geek I was and still am - no idea what happened to it.
So I find one on eBay about a week ago and bid $15. Somebody made about four bids on the auction while it was going but didn't manage to outbid me. I only use eBay for "Buy It Now" purchases, so this was a very rare case I actually bid on an item and wasn't about to get into any bidding wars in case somebody did outbid me. Didn't happen. As of a few hours ago, it's been shipped and on the way.
Now I need to find the Hanna-Barbera Pac-Man cartoon that was released in two volumes on DVD a while back. I've never seen them in stores but they're available at Amazon, etc.

And because of my $15 bargain win, I played a celebratory game of the original Pac-Man for the first time in over a decade.

BRONSKI BEAT 2.0 FEATURING JON FOSTER
Two lead singers replaced the original, Jimmy Somerville, from 1986-to the mid 90's, but the mainstays were founding keyboardists/musicians Steve Bronski and Larry Steinbachek.
Jon Foster was hired to replace Somerville in 1986 and he remained with Bronski for a couple years. Since the Facebook era, Foster has been working on a future TBA project with Steve Bronski once again. Here's to a reunion in one form or another!

FIVE BELOW MINI-HAUL [OCTOBER 21 - MANSFIELD, TX]
THIS time trying out the Five Below store in Mansfield, TX for a change. I didn't care for it as much as the ones in Hurst and Grand Prairie so far.
Check it out - Star Wars and Jelly Belly have finally teamed up for a special mix! METALLIC jellybeans!
Appropriately, of the 16 possibilities of The Simpsons characters, the minifigure I'd gotten was Nelson!
"HA Ha!!!"
