NEW TOY!! TOO BAD IT'S NOT THE REAL THING!

Found this @ Marshall's a month or two ago (approx $15-20 less than the price @ major retail stores) and just opened it and ignited it the first time ever tonight (good thing it wasn't a dud or broke or I'da been PISSED!).  I also have the blue Anakin FX light saber and to me the blue one stays lit a few seconds longer.  Either that, or I'm just not hurling the red one around enough to keep it lit a few seconds more! LOL

KINGDOM HEARTS II [PS2]: VOLCANIC & BLIZZARD LORDS BATTLE [AGRABAH] + HADES BATTLE [OLYMPUS]

Other than the battle with Jafar taking the form of an enormous Genie, the other main battle in Agrabah are the Volcanic and Blizzard Lords, fighting them simultaneously with Aladdin's help.......

With Hercules joining the party at Olympus, Sora and the group takes a final trip into the Underworld (AKA pretty much MY heathen stomping ground LOL) for a firey confrontation with hot-headed James Woods, I mean, Hades!

NEXT TO ROSEANNE, MY FAVORITE HALLOWEEN SPECIAL FROM THE 90's: BEAVIS & BUTT-HEAD

Yeah, they had one too (as well as a couple Xmas specials around that year).

I'd seen Butt-O-Ween the original night it aired on MTV on Halloween 1995, which followed the even better KISS: MTV Unplugged special.  Probably the last time I can honestly say I liked watching MTV! LOL

Along with It's The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown and Garfield's Halloween Adventure, Butt-O-Ween makes this my yearly traditional animated Halloween trilogy.  Not only am I an 80's kid, but I'm also a 90's kid/teen - and B&B are so stupid and dirty-minded, they're even funnier nearly 20 years later.  Mike Judge has done some great work over the years, like the movie Idiocracy, and of course King Of The Hill for a few more years than he worked on B&B!

Who the hell else but BUTT-HEAD dresses up as "nachos" to go trick-or-treating?!?

BUTT-O-WEEN
[by Mike Judge - 1995]

"THERE'S NO STOPPING US NOW"

From one of my two very first LP's by The Supremes (The Supremes Sing H-D-H and More Hits By The Supremes, released pretty much back to back around 1965):

The 70's era of The Supremes with Jean Terrell and Scherrie Payne are hands down my favorite, but I always revisit the original group that got me into their music in the first place!

THROWBACK THURSDAY: PLAYING ALTO CLARINET/MARCHING BAND [1995] + HALLOWEEN 2012 THROWBACK

After marching with the enormous baritone sax for two years in a row, I needed a break my first college marching season and switched to a 3X lighter alto clarinet I'd bought the previous summer from my 1st job @ Pizza Hut LOL!!!

 UGH, marching band closeups aren't that attractive at all, especially me using peripheral vision there (looking straight ahead but keeping an eye to the marchers on either side; the training came in handy when driving too! LOL):

A little something from the show:  "Shaft" by none other than Isaac Hayes AKA Chef from South Park! [1995/fall season]:

HALLOWEEN 2012 THROWBACK:  MINNIE JACK-O-LANTERN!  That's my teddy bear!

GORDON THE DOG (COREY FELDMAN'S PET): SMARTEST FRIDAY THE 13TH CHARACTER OF THEM ALL

Unlike the dummy victims of Jason, who usually screams and cowers into a corner, or runs off into a frenzy, eventually running into the ubiquitous Jason Voorhees, if not into his machete - we meet Corey Feldman's pet, Gordon the dog - from Friday The 13th - The Final Chapter (AKA F13 Part 4).  And he makes the smartest move ever, when confronted by the masked maniac:

Instead of being disemboweled or beheaded, Gordon the dog takes one look at Jason Voorhees, flees down the 2nd floor hallway and dives through the glass window!  JUST like that cowardly lion from Wizard of Oz!!  Whether or not Gordon survived, they never let onto.  Your choice: splattered, or injured his leg and crawled off to safety into the woods! LOL

Gordon the dog = Smartest would-be Voorhees victim of all the F13 films combined!

MMPR - THE MOVIE: SUPER NINTENDO GAME SOUNDTRACK [1995]

Currently I only have a NES cartridge player (not the original Nintendo platform, unfortunately), and I'd soon like to get the Retro Duo, which plays both NES and Super NES.  The only Super Nintendo game I've re-collected so far is Super Empire Strikes Back, but I really liked the MMPR - The Movie game, which coincided along with the film and the completely different Sega Genesis version of the MMPR Movie game.  BanDai done a pretty decent job on the boss battle themes, especially, on the game soundtrack.

In fact, the film/games came out around the same time I'd met Austin St. John AKA "Jason", the original red Power Ranger, in Louisville, 1995.

JEDI MASTER DEPA BILLABA: from JEDI HIGH COUNCIL SET 2 of 2 [2003]

Even though I can appreciate all twelve members of the Jedi High Council from Episode I: The Phantom Menace, I pretty much got this one of the two Council sets from 2003 for Depa Billaba, who's the former Padawan of Samuel L. Jackson AKA Master Mace Windu.  Billaba (played by Dipika O'Neill Joti) is one of the IMO more interesting Jedi, who in the Clone Wars era (in the book Shatterpoint) was sent on a jungle mission (Mace's home) and becomes involved with the ongoing war there.  She's eventually seduced by the Dark Side, goes insane, ripping out the enlightenment jewel from her forehead and just goes totally Linda Blair.  Mace has to confront Depa, the two duel it out, both practitioner's of the same Jedi form, and ultimately knocking his former student into a coma.  Her body was kept on the roof of the Jedi Temple, and if she were to wake up, would face charges of her war crimes.  It's assumed the comatose Billaba was destroyed when Order 66 was issued and the Temple was ambushed by Anakin and the 501st.

Joti only played Depa Billaba in Episode I, and whatever scenes she was included with in Episode II was stock footage.  This is the only figure ever made of the Jedi, you have to buy the set or can find it on eBay as a single loose figure, I'm sure.  I really like the detail, the likeness of Joti is spot-on and the Leia braids aren't bad, either.  Too bad she was never updated in 2012's Vintage Collection!

OH, and the Jedi High Council set 2/2 also includes Masters Yaddle and Yarael Poof!  ACTION figures?  Sitting back in the recliner isn't what I'd really call "action"!

CAJUN HOT/SWEET PICKLES - FIRST BATCH 2013

My friend Terri from Terrell, TX shared this recipe for Cajun hot/sweet pickles and I'd made a large batch a couple years ago, then divided them into smaller jars and gave them out for the holidays.  Since it's been forever and have been requested to make them again, I thought I'd start another couple batches for this year (it takes at least a week if you want them marinated nice enough).  I'd just peeled three garlics (the worst part!) to add and finished this one yesterday.

This time around, I'd taken pictures along the way, so I'll soon post the entire recipe with photo instructions.  You'll just need to decide if you like Louisiana hot sauce, Tapatio, Tabasco, or all three - just a matter of taste plus experimenting with your own variations.

Prepare to spit fire!

M.C. SAR & THE REAL McCOY: "DON'T STOP" [1990]

Another one from their pre-USA/pre-Grammy incarnation M.C. Sar & The Real McCoy - the single mix of "Don't Stop" and followed by O-jay's acapella version, 1990 single.  I believe the female vocals are by a Diamond Ross, possibly a member of the organization/group in the late 80's/early 90's.

I haven't spoken to Mr. Jeglitza in three or so years, would like to catch up and find out if "Real McCoy 3.0" is still in the works.  When we were communicating, he'd emailed me two unreleased cuts from Real McCoy's 1997 and last album, One More Time - which also happens to be my favorite and features Vanessa Mason and Lisa Cork's real vocals (they're not lip-sync'ers/puppets, as Patsy was on their first U.S. album, Another Night).

Their early sound reminds me a lot of the group Black Box, featuring Martha Wash's vocals.

"CAN'T KEEP ME ON HOLD"

I'm 70% impressed with my restoration of the incredibly (and unfortunately) rare and Italy-only "War Machine" promo video/LP by Andrea True (minus "The Connection") from 1980 - the self-remastered audio by myself the better half! LOL

*STILL* WAITING ON "IN A MADMAN'S WORLD" (CORLL/HENLEY/BROOKS BIO-DRAMA) + JOSH VARGAS INTERVIEW

Unfortunately the rumor was untrue, looks like In A Madman's World, the Josh Vargas bio-drama of the 1973 Houston, TX case involving Dean Corll, Wayne Henley and David Brooks won't be out on/before Halloween.

Mr. Josh Vargas, hurry that sheeit up - it's long overdue, all must see this one!

I gots PLENTY to say on the case, but one thing in particular that crossed my mind was had the Houston 5-0 not tried to sweep this case under the rug and keep it as quiet as possible (not to mention unfinished excavating of more possible and likely young victims before Henley and Brooks joined Corll), maybe parents and police everywhere would have been a lot more vigilant about kids just-so-happen to be "missing" (and several within one neighborhood) - and the John Wayne Gacy number of victims discovered in 1978 may have never happened (about the same number, approx 30), if not cut that number in half.

Just sayin', Houston P.D.  This shit could and might happen again, and maybe right there in Houston - and could already be in progress somewhere in the country.  American "parents", start giving a fuck, thank you.

The trailer of In A Madman's World and a couple interviews with Josh Vargas:

******KINDA-NSFW********

A slideshow I'd thrown together of some rare crime scene pictures taken during the excavation of Corll's boat shed and at the beach, where other victims had been buried (1973).  On a scale of 1-10, 10 the most graphic, I'd give this set a 6-7 (the boat shed photos the most graphic).  Unfortunately the Dahmer case and studying that thoroughly has totally desensitized me, so not much is what I call "shocking" anymore.

GIBBLER - VERY shocking.
Corll's victim photos - not so much.

LARGER THAN LIFE: MAMA CASS!!

Another VHS transfer:  Mama Cass performing a live medley of The Mamas & The Papas' hits, television appearance early 70's!

HAPPY NATIONAL CAT DAY!!

According to Temptations treats' Facebook page! LOL

KITTIES VS. DOGS

LOL @ the cat FLYING up the stairs after the little dog barked a few times at it!

TLC BACK ON THE CHARTS

Not surprising, after the controversial VH1 bio-pic CrazySexyCool.  I've already seen it, and one thing I took away from that is Pebbles is ONE narcissistic beeyitch!  Worst. Manager. EVER.  TLC's new greatest hits package called 20 is out, plus the new single "Meant To Be", which coincided with the movie.

Whatever became of O'so Krispie, the rapper/singer who Tionne and Chilli picked from their reality series R U The Girl?  I'd watched the entire thing, for all of 10ish episodes.

EBT WTF NEWS: TWO BIZARRE NEWS REPORTS, ONE INVOLVING AL GREEN'S SISTER

It's not often I see two bizarre news reports in a row, with both involving an EBT card.  One involving the sister of R&B singer Al Green.  I had to LOL at the things that now makes the news in 2013, but I hope they find what happened with Al's sister - sounds like foul play might be involved.  Like in Australia's Snowtown murders, the small group of killers led by Bunting would get the pin number of their victims' benefits card and would be cashing in, long after the person the card belonged to was dead.  The criminals had been caught on surveillance camera, like the people using Green's sister's card.

90's CANDID CAMERA: SUZANNE SOMERS TRICK OR TREATING IN THE WRONG MONTH

Like Garfield's Halloween Adventure I'd recently posted, another VHS transfer:

1990's Candid Camera segment with Suzanne Somers disguised as a foreign lady, driving around a neighborhood and trick-or-treating for her children.  Her character has no concept that Halloween is October 31st and confuses the hell out of everyone who answers the door.

LOL one of the women said she had no candy, but offered a slice of rhubarb pie!

"I FEEL LIKE I WAS THERE... LIKE I TOOK AN *ACTUAL* JOURNEY TO MARS!!!" ----COMMENT BY YOUTUBER

OK THAT'S good to know.  I felt like I was either hallucinating, or was taken into some kinda alternate dimension or something while staring catatonically at this video.  Which is quite possible - in THAT dimension, Miss Jan Terri could be like the Shakira or Mariah Carey there - while in THIS dimension, she's the total opposite.

I need a nap after all that.

"THERE'S NO MORE SENSE IN TRYING - NOTHING CAN GROW WHERE THERE'S NO LOVE"

This was filmed approx 30 years after the LP above was released in 1980 - f*ck the age BS, they STILL The Three Degrees in my eyes!  Sheila, Helen and Valerie!  Unlike many older girl groups, they never retired, therefore no phony groups can be out there calling themselves "3-D" and making money off the group name; unlike at least two groups have done before, touring around and calling themselves The Supremes.  BS they are!  And those stupid beeyitches were like in their 30's, when in reality, all living Supremes are over the age of 50!

KINGDOM HEARTS II [PS2] - SET OF 3 BOSS BATTLES: SEPHIROTH, BARBOSSA + SARK & THE M.C.P.

Another set of PS2 boss battles, this one from Kingdom Hearts II for Playstation 2.  Not sure if any of these have been previously posted before, as I have multiple recordings of some boss battles saved in my gaming archives and a few unorganized data discs LOL!  I guess I should start saving them from now on as "(name) Boss Battle Ver. 1", "Ver. 2" and so forth; a little easier to know which one's have been posted before and not.

KINGDOM HEARTS II -
SET OF THREE BOSS BATTLES
(PLAYSTATION 2):

*  SEPHIROTH
*  BARBOSSA
*  SARK AND THE M.C.P.

MR. PRESIDENT [THE CLASSIC/ORIGINAL LINEUP]: UP ''N' AWAY" [1994]

Instead of the overplayed and ONLY U.S. hit single "Coco Jamboo", the main/original lineup of MR. President is better represented with an earlier single, "Up 'n' Away" from 1994.  For some reason, another guy named Sir Prophet handles the rap on this one and only cut by MR-P that I know of (I'm going to assume this Sir Prophet was THE original rapper, who must have left and was replaced by Lazy, before their singles started charting better than average).

"Coco Jamboo" was released in Europe/Germany in 1996, a year before it arrived in America, and the highest charting position was #2 Germany.  "Up 'n' Away" from 1994 climbed up to #12 Germany charts (charting as high as #6 outside of Germany).  Still not bad, for a Eurodance group!  The album/single version of "Up 'n' Away" IMO is great, even better than "Coco Jamboo" in my book, and the reworked/remixed "Up 'n' Away 2K", released in 2000, was just as good.  I think I like the single better performed live in front of an audience, because Judith, Danii and Lazy give an energetic and crowd-participating performance during that number.

MR. PRESIDENT
(SIR PROPHET, T-SEVEN AND LADY DANII
)

RELEASED 1994 GERMANY/EUROPE, AND IN THE USA IN 1997

MR. PRESIDENT: THE MYRA **YEAR** [SINGULAR] LOL!!

Before I, along with the majority of the USA, first heard of the 1-U.S.-hit wonder Eurodance group MR. President, the trio had already been active in Germany/Europe and mostly venues around their part of the planet.  The most well-known and longest-lasting incarnation of the group was rapper Lazy, and original members/singers Judith AKA "T-Seven", and Lady Danii (Lazy and T-Seven always had the majority of the leads, Danii had one, sometimes two leads on cuts from an album.

MR. President had only one charting U.S. single, the catchy "Coco Jamboo", released around summer of 1997, and was a radio mainstay for months (WAAAY back when I actually USED TO listen to radio, that ol' Rick Dees and all that while driving! LOL).  After brief success in America, the group continued having more charting hit singles back home.

In the early 2000's, Judith/T-Seven and MR. President parted ways, and she has released a couple solo singles like "Passion" and the ironically entitled "Hey Mister President" since then.

T-Seven had an usual kinda-husky yet powerful voice, and her replacement, Myra, was blonde as well, but vocally, was no copycat.  Myra's voice was uniquely much different than T-Seven's voice and singing style, and I liked the 2003 lineup of Lazy, Myra and Danii.  Unfortunately Myra and the producers didn't get along well at all, and left MR.  President only after releasing two charting singles with them: "Forever And One Day" and "Love, Sex & Sunshine".

Because MR. President wasn't in any kind of media in the USA after 1998ish, Myra had, without being caught by my musical radar, been hired, and was damn already gone before I could finish listening to their first (and only) two new singles, as the "new MR. President"!

Here's a compilation I'd made of that brief configuration of the group.  And on the third clip (singing over the recording of "Forever And One Day", 50% live), Myra had already left, so Danii sang over Myra's prerecorded vocals, and it was just herself and Lazy on the stage outdoors.  They still pulled it off, with or without either Myra or Judith.  As far as I know, MR. President is currently on hiatus until they regroup and all that.  I love me some classic 90's Eurodance groups - Real McCoy, 3rd Party, MR. President, Fun Factory, La Bouche/Le Click, etc.  I'm showing my age.......screw you guys.  ;)

THE MORE I SEE OF THIS OUTRAGEOUS HEATHEN-ISH RUSSIAN BEHAVIOR IN PUBLIC...

The more I find them attractive!  Political differences aside, personality-wise, we're not much different at all.  Not crazy about vodka, however.

I'd like to go out one night with a Russian because it would be like beyond having a blast, and there's a 50/50 chance we'll make it back home alive! LOL

MEGA MAN X8 [PLAYSTATION 2]: FOUR MAVERICK BATTLES

About 10 days ago, I'd posted a compilation I'd recorded of three Maverick battles from Mega Man X8 (for Playstation 2).  Here's another one with four
Maverick battles:

MEGA MAN X8 (PS2)

*CRAB MAVERICK (NOAH'S PARK/INTRO STAGE STRAGE)
* AVALANCHE YETI
* BURN ROOSTER
*GIGABOLT MAN-O-WAR (a secondary recording of that battle)

ADAM WEST'S INVENTIVE *AND* EFFECTIVE CAT LAUNCHER!!

I know my Siamese mix of a ninja kitty AKA Isis AKA "Nosey" would be ready and willing to be fired with this thing Adam West is chasing the pizza delivery guy with!  The cute little bitch NEVER passes up on a chance to be confrontational with somebody, if not maul them - and especially me!  Staring me up and down like the little piglet is TALLER than me!  Who the hell does she think she is?!?!?
