The Prime Target was published in 2008, obviously from an independent company, judging from the paperback quality. I had to special order it at Barnes & Noble while I was researching the Dahmer case, and to any potential buyers, save your money.
Sopa Princewell was the manager of the Oxford Apartments while Jeffrey Dahmer was operating in his 1-bedroom revolving door of male victims. At the trial, I remember him saying while he was getting on Jeffrey's case about taking care of the awful smell in his apartment, he opened the lid of a big container, got a lungful of the contents, hitting the floor and nearly passing out. As the old saying goes, "Don't stick your nose where it don't belong!". What was inside were dissolving body parts, which Jeffrey explained was aquarium water (BS LOL!!!).
Princewell goes on and on about how he was the "prime target", which couldn't be further from the truth. He wasn't Jeffrey's type, for starters. And he tells us about the nightmares he had of Dahmer escaping from prison, and tracked Sopa down to kill HIM as well. Oh boy. Don't flatter yourself.
Other than yapping about himself and unnecessary paranoia over a dead person, anything pertaining to the case itself is common knowledge to true crime followers.
The definitive and ONLY decent and truthful book on the case is The Shrine by Brian Masters.
