Because it's been argued many times over the correct speed of original Supreme Florence Ballard's 1968 solo single "Love Ain't Love" - the slower speed from the master used on the first-ever CD The Essential Florence Ballard from 2000 VS. the faster speed of the original 45 RPM, this is the speed I've adjusted "Love Ain't Love" to my own liking. And it's faster than how it was transferred on the compilation from her unreleased first and only solo LP.
Hardcore Supremes fans will recognize Effie's (Jennifer Hudson) flop solo single's 45 RPM sleeve after being given the pink slip from Beyonce's group is an identical homage to Flo's flop "Love Ain't Love" 45 RPM single's sleeve. ALL the album covers by Beyonce/Hudson's group is a total ripoff of most of the Supremes LP covers from both the 60's and Diana Ross-less 70's lineups with Jean Terrell and later Scherrie Payne in Ross' place.
FLORENCE BALLARD:
"LOVE AIN'T LOVE" (1968 solo single)
IMO the best if not the correct speed.
