MENUDO - "GIMME ROCK" (featuring Robi Rosa)
VS. "QUIERO ROCK" (featuring Miguel Cancel) [1984/82]
I'd say Robi Rosa is the 2nd most famous former Menudo member, after Ricky Martin (obviously). Miguel Cancel decided to leave before management had to replace him (when a member started growing facial hair, a tall growth spurt or voice began changing with age) and was the only member ever given a "farewell album" called "Menudo - Adios Miguel". To my knowledge, the group was scandal free until a couple members from a late 80's lineup was busted for weed possession LOL Ricky Martin was not involved - he comes across as a square to me, anyway. Now watch his ass find my comment on the internet!
I have a friend who transcribes music and want him to write out the bassline to "Quiero Rock" so I can eventually learn it on my bass guitar. Probably my favorite next to "War Machine" by Andrea True's 1980 band.

Because the staff at the vet office were so great with Athena a couple weeks ago, thought I'd tonight bake for them some of my infamous wild huckleberry sweet cornbread - and will deliver that along with a Xmas card tomorrow. I've hooked them up with baked goods and bruschetta in the past LOL
