Another video digitized from the B-Day gift VHS tape with several 90's Eurodance videos.......
Melanie Thornton was in the original Le Click in 1993, and after one single ("Tonight Is The Night"), she formed La Bouche with Lane McCray from 1994-99. Kayo Shekoni was hired with Robert Haynes to continue Le Click in 1997, and had released three singles between 97-98. Shortly after Melanie Thornton left La Bouche and released a solo album in 2000, entitled Learning To Fly, she was killed along with several other Eurodance associates in a plane crash in 2001.
Lane McCray was going to reform La Bouche with Le Click's Kayo (who was performing in the group Afrodite), but didn't get past a posthumously-released single "In Your Life" featuring an unreleased Melanie Thornton vocal (with Lane and Kayo on the single's cover). Not much has been heard of either act since.
I have three Le Click videos on the VHS tape, and this one's Le Click's second single "Don't Go". It done well on the dance and club charts, not as successful as their first single, "Call Me", both from 1997.
LE CLICK FEATURING KAYO
"DON'T GO" [DJ PROMO MUSIC VIDEO]
RELEASED 1997
I have each and every rare/out-of-print import/non-USA Le Click featuring Kayo CD maxi singles and the slightly different EU version of the CD album/different cover/2 bonus tracks, and liked this non-U.S. remix of "Heaven's Got To Be Better" from the European maxi single. MUCH better than the U.S. album version:
