Before you get the wrong impression LOL - my kitties love catnip. I grow it for 'em fresh, which they chew right off the plant (and then get silly), or the storebought dried catnip - either way, they don't care, but have more fun with the actual catnip plant (it also SMELLS like marijuana when the stems break, no wonder the attraction to kitties!).
And because a former manager/friend about 15 years ago, who we'll just call Kurt Cobain because of his hairstyle, no likeness, taught me how to roll a decent joint back in the day, I can combine those skills with the catnip. Because she can smell the catnip in the rolled "kitty joint", she apparently doesn't mind snatching it from my hands.
It's like a new catnip toy except she demolished it soon after taking the pictures to get to the "good stuff". So technically, we DIDN'T "fire it up"! Only in song.
