Just posted live @ Amazon, my brief review of the Black Series Master Luminara.
This new Luminara was originally planned for Spring 2013 in the "Build A Droid" line, and when that line was cancelled, it was announced she'd instead be released in this new The Black Series (along with other planned characters like Pablo-Jill) later in the year.
This is the first-ever Luminara with a removeable headdress, revealing a hairstyle that resembles Mary Oyaya's as her makeup was being done behind the scenes of Episode II: Attack Of The Clones. This is also the biggest complaint so far, because the headdress easily falls off. I've solved that problem using a tiny piece of white poster putty (name brand, not generic, if you're going to try this).
My personal complaint is Master Luminara isn't green tinted enough - I was hoping something closer to the complexion of the Episode III figure (my personal favorite one to this day). If this figure is ever repainted as a running change, please go with that shade of green.
I'd bought an extra Luminara to send to Mary Oyaya, herself, as she's doing charity work in Uganda and other parts of the world. A hero onscreen as well as off screen.
Aside from the IMO minor flaws, the anticipated Luminara with better articulation was worth it.
