The most underrated horror (or should I say sci-fi'ish) film of the early 80's because it's misunderstood. Had the original Nigel Kneale script been used and not been altered by Tommy Wallace, it would have been 10X darker than the finished product.
If you totally forget Michael Myers exists and watch Halloween III as a Halloween themed film (as it was intended), you'll likely enjoy it - especially if you've seen it already and despised it long ago, it'll be even better the second viewing. I'm speaking to you, naysayer Mr. Paul Harrison of JTA!! ;) LOL
It's a slow grower and love the message about holiday capitalism. A bitch like me reads between the lines!
