There's no deception here - what you see as these pixelated graphic drawings is what you get in their corresponding games titles (Burgertime and Mr. Do!). For instance, the Atari 2600 version of Burgertime was rushed and out on shelves in 1983. The Colecovision staff took their time to make a bright and colorful near-arcade experience a year later in 1984, and they succeeded, in my opinion.
Those stick men from the Atari 2600 Burgertime are for real and spot-on -- Mr. Hot Dog is the only noticeable enemy of the game.
