I could kinda relate to the people who freaked out when they saw The Passion Of The Christ - I had a similar experience watching the original Last House On The Left from 1972, having a damn near panic attack watching this horrible shit - and seeing it for the first time ever in my 30's! LOL
What makes it even more confusing is David Hess plays Krug, the most violent ringleader of the punks, yet had also written and performed this wonderful soundtrack, using English horns, oboes and double reeds, my musical expertise - plus some excellent bass guitar playing by Hess as well.
R.I.P. David Hess - you still scare and creep the fuck out of me, even in death!
