If you combined two Capcom Classics - Mega Man and Street Fighter - you'd have Mega Man 2 (AKA Rockman 2): The Power Fighters, coin-op arcade game from 1996 and also an unlockable game on the PS2 anthology Mega Man Anniversary Collection (includes the first seven classic Mega Man games for NES/SNES).
Three missions/levels to select from after choosing your Mega Man player. Each one includes a handful of the classic Dr. Wily robots from Mega Man 1-7 to blast and defeat, as well as two final battles with much larger classic Wily level bosses. I'm a Wily robot fanatic (Elecman from the original MM my favorite, obviously!), and loved the updated-from-just-8bit versions of over 15 of the evil Wily inventions. As with the original Mega Man games, defeating and then gaining each robot's unique power/weapon rules applies here, too!
