HORROR FILM SOUNDTRACK HIGHLIGHTS #02: A NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET [1984]

Not much of an introduction is needed for one of the two biggest horror franchises of the 80's - AND its' unforgettable soundtrack by Charles Bernstein.......

But before I start, interesting trivia I'd noticed about the original Elm Street score: the drum machine used in the more tense and chaotic music cues is the same exact drums used on the majority of Cyndi Lauper's 1983 debut LP, She's So Unusual!  TELL me that drum machine beat isn't the same one used on, say, "When You Were Mine" and "She Bop" from Cyndi's first album LOL!!

I'm serious!
