As difficult as some stages were, I've always liked Kid Niki and especially the original coin-op arcade version. The NES version isn't bad (compared to that horribly awful Commodore 64 version!). Kid Niki reminds me a lot of side-scrollers like Super Mario and Mega Man, but didn't catch on as well as those two and continues to be an obscure cult classic with gamers.
