With Ed Sullivan's facial expressions, it's REALLY hard to tell - but I'm going to assume he's quite pleased with the "NEW Supremes" as he calls them - Jean Terrell, Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdstone.....I mean, Birdsong - performing a live medley, and then their first single "Up The Ladder To The Roof", from 1970. Their only appearance with Jean before Ed's show was retired.
At least they didn't perform fucking "BABY LOVE"!!!
