It had taken over two decades to get my hands on the vinyl-only Japan release of the 1980 soundtrack of cult horror film Prom Night, starring Jamie Lee Curtis and Leslie Nielsen. All of the cuts recorded were by studio musicians and singers and surprisingly NOT a generic cheap production, like many B-horror soundtracks are. A couple of them sound to me like ripoff's in one way or another of known disco hits, like "I Will Survive" by Gloria Gaynor and "Dancer" by Gino Soccio.
The Prom Night soundtrack megamix was my first full-length editing project; I'd previously toyed around with just mixing two singles together.
