AMAZON REVIEW FOR THE BLACK SERIES MASTER LUMINARA

Just posted live @ Amazon, my brief review of the Black Series Master Luminara.

This new Luminara was originally planned for Spring 2013 in the "Build A Droid" line, and when that line was cancelled, it was announced she'd instead be released in this new The Black Series (along with other planned characters like Pablo-Jill) later in the year.

This is the first-ever Luminara with a removeable headdress, revealing a hairstyle that resembles Mary Oyaya's as her makeup was being done behind the scenes of Episode II: Attack Of The Clones.  This is also the biggest complaint so far, because the headdress easily falls off.  I've solved that problem using a tiny piece of white poster putty (name brand, not generic, if you're going to try this).

My personal complaint is Master Luminara isn't green tinted enough - I was hoping something closer to the complexion of the Episode III figure (my personal favorite one to this day).  If this figure is ever repainted as a running change, please go with that shade of green.

I'd bought an extra Luminara to send to Mary Oyaya, herself, as she's doing charity work in Uganda and other parts of the world.  A hero onscreen as well as off screen.

Aside from the IMO minor flaws, the anticipated Luminara with better articulation was worth it.

LEGO 75035: KASHYYYK CLONE TROOPERS [2014] + NEW STUFF @ YOUTUBE CHANNEL

Finally finished this one - surprisingly with four camo/Kashyyyk Clone troopers in a set under $10.  I think a Lego AT-AP has also been released this year, or will be (the box almost identical to the 2012 Vintage Collection AT-AP box artwork, minus Luminara but with Commander Gree and Tarfful included).

OUT OF THE OVEN: RHUBARB-RASPBERRY COBBLER

I got this 1956 black and white film from Netflix today in the mail called The Bad Seed.  It's like the pre-Damien except it's a little girl sociopath LOL!!  Never seen it before.

METH-HEADS THESE DAYS.

SNOWTOWN: MAKING THE WALL OF SPIDERS LIST

The scene from Snowtown where the small group is first constructing a names list for their "Wall of Spiders" - a wall which includes a photo of themselves, photos of future targets below, with a string tacked from their photo to the people he's connected to in the group.  In Australia, "Rock Spider" is slang for pedo.

This woman has a PLAN!  A fucked-up place like Detroit needs exactly the makeover she's hollering about! LOL

But don't fuck with the old Motown building!

"GO GET FUCKED!!!!!"

"ONLY YESTERDAY I FOUND YOU - ALL ALONE WITHOUT A CARE"

SHOULDN'T THE LIST HAVE BEEN "WHO **HASN'T** LINDSAY LOHAN F*CKED?" INSTEAD?

It wouldn't have taken as long to write! LOL

Dirty ol' heifer lush!

HIPPO'S THESE DAYS.

*ROLLS EYES*

If she's so MFing GANGSTA - OK then, I order a drive-by on her little mudshark ass and see how tough she is.  That 50 Tyson too - I don't care if he's autistic - you're not exempt when you include machine gun sound effects to your "music"!  What we call back home "MOVING targets".

"JUST LISTEN CLOSELY, NO IT AIN'T SO EASY - EVERY WORD YOU'VE SAID, I HAVE HEARD BEFORE"

KRISTINE W.: "STRONGER" REMIX TRILOGY

I hadn't checked out anything by 90's dance diva Kristine W since her 1996ish debut album featuring a couple hit singles I remember clubbing to: "One More Try" and "Land Of The Living" to name a couple.  At this cool CD store in Dallas which is known to sometimes carry a few out of print and hard to find gems (like two rare CD's by The Party I'd found there) and noticed a 2003 2-CD set called Stronger by Kristine W.  The first disc is the album itself - and CD 2 is a nonstop mix of a few remixed versions of cuts from the first disc.  A lot similar to what I try to replicate and was done on at least two mid 70's disco LP's by Carol Douglas and Donna Summer.

I was pleasantly surprised, for a dance album from the 2000's - but doesn't sound too far away from how her music was like in the 90's.  Kristine had been recovering I think from breast cancer, and this was supposed to be her comeback album.  And she's likely still touring the club circuit today.

These are the first 3 cuts from Disc 2, mixed together as they appear:

KRISTINE W. "STRONGER" REMIX TRILOGY

"FLY AGAIN"
"SAVE MY SOUL"
"LETTING GO"

STARKILLER VS. JEDI MASTER SHAAK TI: THE FORCE UNLEASHED [PS2 VERSION] + MAY THE 4TH COUNTDOWN - 16 MORE DAYS!

Three Jedi hunted down, Lord Vader.......

Now let's go whoop Palpatine's ass together!

******************************

COUNTDOWN - SIXTEEN DAYS TIL.......

And I've FINALLY made up my mind exactly when to get my Master Luminara/SW fandom tattoo, and my very first one, period - on May the 4th!

It'll be worth postponing and I can get wasted after since you can't do it before! LOL  I've already picked the reputable business with very decent artists - surely they can't fuck THIS one up!  If you can't draw this identically, then you're no artist.  I KNOW I can't draw it and I'm no artist.

"GIVE IT UP, GIVE IT UP."/WATCHMOJO: TOP 10 STALKER SONGS

Some of the ones I'd thought would show up on their new top 10 @ WatchMojo, DID:  "Private Eyes", "Every Breath You Take", "Obsession".

Not surprised it wasn't included because it's so obscure, but my favorite stalker song is "You Can't Stop A Girl In Love" by The Supremes - Scherrie Payne is one determined, scandalous beeyitch! LOL

Second is "Obsession" by Animotion:

"LOVE. COME. DOWN."

UHOHBRO: TOY FAIL

LOL Some of these guys should be working for Hasbro!

If they don't already!

My favorite toy fail:

KID NIKI: FAMICOM/JAPANESE VERSION [NES]

The only difference I noticed in the Japanese Famicom version of Kid Niki (the NES port) is the red/blue guys' eyes are slanted instead of dots, and Kid Niki's hairstyle is more like a ponytail than a rat-tail that looked really stupid on people in the late 80's.

*NEW* SSMYOB 80's LADIES X3 MIX: JANET JACKSON + THE COVER GIRLS + EXPOSE'

SSMYOB 80's LADIES X3 MIX:

JANET JACKSON: "THE PLEASURE PRINCIPLE"
THE COVER GIRLS: "ONE NIGHT AFFAIR"
EXPOSE': "COME GO WITH ME"

"YOU ARE FREE TO GO TO HELL." ***SLAP***: BEST LINE OF THE YEAR LOL!!!

As Tommy Sotomayor said "He slapped that bitch back to the future!" LMAO

And WTF is  "Witch for Jesus"?!?

"You are free to go to Hell" reminds me of my favorite line from a boss in the NES game Monster Party:

"FOUL.  DEVIL!!!"

NEW VIDEO/AUDIO SYNC ATTEMPT: SHALAMAR - "DISAPPEARING ACT" [1983]

The audio that came with this video sucked and sounded muffled, so I used the 7" single mix of "Disappearing Act" - the first half is a little out of sync but then catches up halfway through.  I saved my work progress and will fix that first half but this is how it looks so far:

SHALAMAR
"DISAPPEARING ACT" [1983]

"WE'VE BEEN DOWN THAT ROAD BEFORE, BUT THAT'S OVER NOW"

LOL the singer named "do" (your guess is as good as mine LOL) is too cute trying to keep up with her two backup dancers!  That's why it's best to lip sync to songs at that BPM or you'll be outta breath in no time, with choreography inclusive.  Even The Supremes had a hard time keeping up singing live with the band on a couple performances of their faster disco singles.
