Fans were disappointed that pretty much all vintage 70's-80's interviews from the 3-DVD KISSOLOGY sets were edited from their original versions, and that disappointingly included their hysterical interview with Tom Snyder on Halloween, 1979 (Dynasty LP/tour era).
Ace had apparently began partying early that morning and all the attention the normally-quiet Spaceman was getting from Snyder was beyond obviously pissing off Gene big time, and to a lesser extent, the annoyed, but smiling all the way through it, Paul.
Peter Criss was Ace's partying buddy and was just sitting there how those two would likely party together when the cameras weren't on them. I think Criss was getting a kick out of Ace's antics, 1-liner's and dressing up Tom Snyder's teddy bear with his costume gauntlets (AKA "Space Bear!!!").
This is the full unedited Tomorrow Show with Tom Snyder interview which I'd found on VHS I believe was at this hole in the wall record store while I was living in Orlando, and that was around 1998-99. Tape still in great condition after all these years.
Gene and Paul might have ripped off buyers of KISSOLOGY Volume II LOL - THIS is what they should have given the fans. Nearly a half hour of Ace Frehley running the show for once, and on my favorite holiday, at that!
