MOTOWN'S MAGNIFICENT SEVEN: THE SUPREMES AND THE FOUR TOPS [1970-71]

Shortly after Jean Terrell replaced Diana Ross as lead singer of The Supremes, she along with original Supreme Mary Wilson and Cindy Birdsong and the group The Four Tops, recorded three LP's together from 1970-1971, under the nickname "The Magnificent Seven".

Together they had a couple major hits ("River Deep - Mountain High") and a few minor singles as well.  Pretty much like how Diana Ross & The Supremes was paired with The Temptations for two LP's together plus two live shows/albums in the 1960's.

*  "KNOCK ON MY DOOR" (1970)
*  "IF I COULD BUILD MY WHOLE WORLD AROUND YOU" (1971)
*  "WITHOUT THE ONE YOU LOVE" (1970)
