Jamiroquai is the opposite of the saying "before its' time" - what he records, I could almost swear it was released around 1979. It doesn't matter if it's "Space Cowboy" or "Don't Give Hate A Chance", he's always employed top-notch oldschool bass guitar players, which is a lost art form, obviously influenced by Jamerson and those studio bass players from Motown and other 60's/70's labels.
