The original Kenner 8D8 "torture droid", released in 1983 from the Return Of The Jedi line, side-by-side comparison to the "modern update" Power Of The Force II version, released around 1997-98. The more recent version includes the branding machine seen being used by 8D8 in the film, and the original came with no accessories but had "detachable legs" as his only unique feature.
Like the POTF II Jawa's, I believe you can light up 8D8's eyes with a light placed near a hole drilled somewhere on the figure's head. Whatevah.
