As quickly as Jimmy Somerville left Bronski Beat after their first LP in 1984, The Age Of Consent (scoring at least 4 hits with that one) to form The Communards, Steve and Larry from Bronski hired Jon Foster to replace him, and together released Truthdare Doubledare in 1986. The two big hit singles from their second album was "Hit That Perfect Beat" and "C'mon C'mon".
This particular configuration of Bronski is a totally different group than the original lineup with Jimmy Somerville. Their first LP was full of angst and rage and one of the most political albums I've ever listened to, and their second album caters more to the dance floor and less on the politics.
The cut I just digitized from the Truthdare cassette is cut 1 from side two, "This Heart", I'm assuming a filler track/non-single. I know the album is available as a UK import CD or something, I just haven't ordered it yet!
