Because I'd already gotten the Padme from The Black Series (Wave 01), the Geonosis Arena battle from Episode II version that I'd been wanting since I started collecting. That particular scene, with 100 or so Jedi ambushing and halting the executions of Padme, Obi-Wan and Anakin, is hands down my favorite scene from Episode II.
Not surprised Wave 02 of TBS 3 3/4" with Master Luminara wasn't at the Toys 'R' Us in South Arlington, TX, when I'd stopped by around 4:30 P.M. yesterday (Wednesday). The only Episode II version of Anakin that I have is the boring "Peasant Disguise" figure from The Vintage Collection. A better, "action"-oriented - this Padawan version of Anakin from The Black Series was worth joining Episode II Padme! LOL
These two are the only figures I've gotten from The Black Series so far. Not counting the two Master Luminara's I pre-ordered on Amazon over a month ago, waiting on its' arrival hopefully soon!
At TRU, the entrance area was all ready to go for the holidays. I'd taken some pictures at the South Cooper store, posting them below. OH - and I found myself a cool calendar for 2014!! It SAYS Pac-Man, but it don't look too much like him. Stupid-ass "Modernized" 80's sheeit, stop fucking with their original "look" of 80's icons, asshole, seriously!
Nobody else buy me a damn calendar for Xmas, I ALREADY got one, see! ;)
