To promote their final two LP's, High Energy and Mary, Scherrie & Susaye, both released on Motown Records in 1976, The Supremes done what many groups like KISS filmed in the 70's - music videos, a lot of times made for countries who couldn't see the group/singer because they didn't tour there.
Mary Wilson, Scherrie Payne and Susaye Greene lip-sync'ed to about 8 songs from both LP's combined, and every song was performed in the same room, same spot. Very amateurish and campy - just like my friends and I would do with a camcorder back in the day when we got trashed, and pretty much identical! LOL!!!
Here's two from that U.K.-released VHS/betamax/whatevah, from 1977.
THE SUPREMES - 1977:
* "HIGH ENERGY" [Susaye Greene lead vocal]
* "TIL THE BOAT SAILS AWAY"/"I DON'T WANT TO LOSE YOU" [Mary Wilson lead vocal]
