Looks can be deceiving - Mega Man 8 might be the first and last "Classic Mega Man" made for the Playstation 1 and may be a step above as far as being colorful and having that same side-scrolling look.
The Dr. Wily robots on this one, as ridiculous as some of their names are, have proven to be more difficult than the earlier games. After the intro stage, the first Wily robot I picked to battle was Clown Man and it's obvious I need some catching up to do, having not played this one in about 3 years or more.
At least Clown Man's attacks (and power to receive after defeating him) are thunder/electricity based!! And THAT'S right up my alley!~

This is also the first Mega Man games in which the Wily Robots actually speaks! After this sequel, Dr. Wily retired - running out of ideas.
