BRONSKI BEAT: THEIR FIRST THREE VIDEOS [1984]

Digitized from an out-of-print VHS.......

The original lineup of Bronski Beat were singer Jimmy Somerville and musicians Steve Bronski and Larry Steinbachek.  Their first LP Age Of Consent from 1984 is one of the most political and pissed-off albums of all time, their sound mostly synth/electro-pop/disco (similar to Eurythmics).  After their first album, Jimmy left and formed The Communards, and Jon Foster replaced him in Bronski.

Bronski Beat gets bravery credit for being the first "out of the closet and in your face about it" group, and wouldn't mind seeing a documentary on them from the Unsung series.
