VINYL 45 RPM DIGITIZING: MECO - "EMPIRE STRIKES BACK" + "THE FORCE THEME" [1980]

The first Star Wars themed album by disco group MECO came across to me as a corny novelty LP, just like that ol' Pac-Man Fever sheeit (I haven't listened to it since 1982ish for a REASON, loyal Pac-Man/Pac-family gamer to this day or not, nooo thank you!).

On the same day while flipping through stacks of old 45 RPM's at Half Price Books, found two Star Wars related singles on the RSO label!  The "Lapti Nek"/"Ewok Celebration" 45 RPM (from 1983's Return Of The Jedi) and this one, again by MECO from the first LP, from The Empire Strikes Back (1980).  Cleaned up the vinyl and got out my turntable to record it - enjoy both sides back-to-back!

MECO 45 RPM (1980)
SIDE 1:  "EMPIRE STRIKES BACK (MEDLEY)":  "DARTH VADER"/"YODA'S THEME"
SIDE 2:  "THE FORCE THEME"

I actually like both sides of this 45 even better than the original Star Wars disco medley called Galactic Funk by MECO, or whatever the name of the LP, from 1977ish.

Minnie had to inspect the 1980 vintage Hoth Wampa from Empire Strikes Back - found it @ Movie Trading Company in Arlington for like $5 a year or so ago!
