LOL Quite frankly, I hate to say I like Simpson's newer version better - the verses in between the chorus in the original has always gotten on my nerves, with Pete Burns trying to 1-Up George of Culture Club in the drama department, especially in their music video of "Spin" back in the day.
At least the verse lyric's from Simpson's "Spin" sounds decent and kinda breathy, like how Donna Summer had originally been singing on her very first few LP's with Casablanca Records.
